When I received the inquiry from Hannah and Aaron for their December wedding, I was so excited. Not just because it would be the one that would help me hit my goal. More so because it’s the fourth wedding that I get to capture of a fellow believer in the most basic of human rights. And I truly couldn’t be more thankful to have met these two. This Dundurn Castle engagement session was an early morning one. It was worth getting up early for, let me tell you! The glowy morning light was perfection as it shone on these two lovebirds.

FROM TWO AMAZING INDIVIDUALS…

Hannah, a piano student in London is so excited for their December Toronto wedding! As is Aaron of course, but the sparkle that shines in her eyes is absolutely dazzling. She mentioned that she wanted to feel like she was as stunning as Kate Middleton, and Aaron and I immediately agreed that she surpassed that. Hannah is one of those girls who has that natural beauty, and not just on the outside. She radiates with kindness, and it’s so obvious that she cannot wait to spend the rest of her life with Aaron.

What to say about Aaron. Words fall short. He so obviously loves Hannah with all of his heart, but it doesn’t stop there. He just loves. Period. His empathy towards everyone is what made him such an incredible spiritual counsellor in a Toronto hospital. It’s also going to make him an incredible employment counsellor at his brand new job. If anyone has this man behind him, with the power of God amazing things will happen. Aaron and Hannah have the same values, but they think about these things so much deeper than most people. This is probably the reason for all the lengthy emails between the two when they were still living in different cities.

…TO THIS ONE MOMENT

From the moment that Hannah saw Aaron (he opened the door for his father and let him through first), she knew that this was a special young man who she wanted to get to know. And while it’s been a few years since, he isn’t any less gentlemanly and respectful towards her. I’m sure they’re a whole lot more at ease with each other now than at the start of their relationship, but that respect is something that is still so obvious. I truly believe that God created these two for each other. I’m so excited to see what these next few months of their engagement bring. And I’m absolutely confident that even if their December wedding is a cold one, their love towards each other and friends and family will make everyone forget that.

Hannah and Aaron, thank you from the bottom of my heart for the incredible time we spent together last week. I will never forget our conversations during and after your Dundurn Castle engagement session. It’s so easy to fall in love with the two of you. I love that you’re so excited to be part of the DVI family!!!
