Extended Family Session at Waterford Ponds

This wonderful family contacted me a while ago. We had to plan ahead a while, so it was nice to finally capture them after planning their session for so long! Some of them are truck drivers (so they are gone during the week) and others live a few hours away (Barrie), I was honoured to be chosen to capture their family portraits. This Dad is so fortunate to have such amazing kids, I love how they all got along so well. And all the subjects were told that the theme was pastels, which totally suits me (but you knew that!!!).

They were even willing to drive to Waterford, I love photographing at this location! The sky is so open, the air is so fresh! And the sunsets are just gorgeous!!! (See at the very bottom)

This extended family was large, which made it so much fun!!!

These four are just the sweetest, don’t you agree? Their little ones definitely kept me on my toes, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!

I mean, just look at these two!!! All the heart-eyes…

Such a loving Opa!

Another one of my favorite sessions captured at this location HERE!

You can just sense the love between these three, and they way they’re rooting for each other!!!

This little family of three were super fun, but mostly oh-so-kind. Melinda is a talented photographer, which made this honour even more special to me! Check out her business “The Vintage Reel Photography” out HERE on Facebook, and give her a big thumbs up! She’s a super kind human being, and you’re in good hands with her!

Now this little one, though! She is just something else, don’t you agree? By the end of the session, Olivia was blowing raspberries all around and we were all loving it, of course!

This gorgeous couple have been together for 10 months now, and just watching them makes me miss those butterflies I used to get (it’s still there, but more rare) when Bertus and I just started dating.

And these two young ones just loved making each other smile. That hair, though! (Jealous!!!)

I got the whole family involved to get some good smiles from this handsome young man!

And then there was this family… <3

Austin is a pretty proud big brother to Nolan!

Oh, Nolan, you really made me miss that newborn stage! Before you know it, you’re going to outgrow your mama’s arms, but you’ll never outgrow her heart!

With all of Austin’s hearing challenges, I still recognized such a little mischievous streak in this little man!

Family Kok, you were an absolute delight! Thank you for choosing me to capture this time in your lives. It was an honour and I feel blessed to have met you! Stay humble and kind, you’re all amazing people!
