Jennifer and Wayne are engaged, and are these two so much fun and made my job so easy! By the end of our Cranberry Creek engagement session I had taken 817 images, but I managed to cull them down to just over 200. Two hundred! Of course I can’t share all of them on here, but it suffices to say that Jennifer and Wayne are going to be super excited to get their gallery. We started our session at Cranberry Creek, an absolute gorgeous location, and ended it by cooling down in the lake. I didn’t end up dipping my toes in the water, thanks to my zoom lens, but I kind of wanted to!

These two lovebirds have been dating for over 2 years, and they’re tying the knot next year May. Wayne and Jennifer, you are both so young and have your whole lives ahead of you! It reminds me of that time in my life; I also got married about a year after I finished high school. I know, I know, that is really young. This couple (& my husband and I) come from a Dutch community where a lot of us do get married very young. But thanks to our faith in God, this is often blessed with happy marriages and a brood of kids that fills our hearts and homes. And all of us will say that we wouldn’t change a thing about it! I know I definitely wouldn’t!

I won’t keep you any longer, I hope you enjoy these as much as I loved capturing this couple, and I can’t wait to capture their wedding in May! Enjoy this gorgeous summer weather, it’s going to get a bit warmer again soon. And when that happens, you’ll know where to find me; I’ll be dipping my toes in the cool water of lake Erie!

And then we were on our way to the lake! When we got there, this charter sailboat was just docking. Jennifer was brave enough to ask the captain if we could use their boat for a quick opportunity to get a few amazing shots of the two of them on it! And he said YES! Tell me that this wasn’t worth it, and I’ll know that you’re joking!
