Emma Graham is graduating and heading off to university. We have previously featured her entrepreneurial journey with Small Town Heritage on our blog. This week it was time for a glowy, stunning Sussex Prom Session that took place in the beautiful Sussex Corner. Combine a stunning graduate, glowy light, a meaningful location and a princess dress and you cannot help but get a gallery of your dreams.

A Stunning Transformation

Emma is beautiful wearing an oversize sweater and jeans, like during STH’s brand shoot. So when she donned her gown from Lockhart’s in Sussex, she looked like an absolute princess. Actually. Her hair and makeup was expertly done by Jessica Dalling from Diamond Hair Studio. It added the perfect touch to her prom look. The session was a family affair, set in a location that holds special meaning for Emma. The grounds at her grandparents’ home provided the perfect backdrop for many of the photos.

Family Love and Memories

This Sussex Prom Session truly highlighted the love and connection within Emma’s family. Her mom and dad were proudly featured in several shots, capturing their joy and bittersweet emotions as their little girl is about to enter another chapter. They are very proud as she is planning a busy summer working at Shoppers Drug Mart in Sussex. This fall, she’ll be attending at Acadia University, and that is bittersweet for the whole family. The family’s adorable dog, Nova, also made a charming appearance, adding a the perfect amount of playfulness to the session.

A Blend of Elegance and Nature

Despite the heat, the sunny outdoors in Sussex Corner offered unbeatable natural lighting. We might have gotten a bit sweaty, but the warm, golden glow of the sun was worth every drop. When it became just a bit much, especially for Eli, elegantly suited up in gray and pink to coordinate with Emma, we were able to escape indoors to Emma’s grandparents. Their gorgeous grand staircase made for some classic prom portraits.

Emma’s Sussex Prom Session was a beautiful blend of elegance, family love, and radiant summer light. As she prepares to start at Acadia University, we hope that these photos will serve as a cherished reminder of her high school days and the love that surrounds her at home. Emma, we’re so proud of you and wish you God’s blessing in your future!!!
