Well, hello Spring, where’ve you been? It’s been too long! The weather these last few days has been incredible and I feel like finally I can start opening up my mind to more photography. Not that there has been a lack of work behind the scenes, or a lack of scheduling! I can honestly say I am trying to accommodate as many of you as I possibly can this year, but with me taking three weeks off, it’s going to be insane! I’m totally excited about the insanity though; I can’t wait for some amazing golden hour sessions soon.
Now, onto the real reason you’re here, to see this gorgeous couple’s beach engagement session! I met Reuben and Tanisha at a coffee shop back when there was still snow on the ground, and here we are in t-shirt weather! Reuben is also a teacher like my husband, so I can relate to a lot of what he does! I believe that Tanisha will be the perfect wife to this teacher. Who knows, she may even do some grading like I used to do (before my business started). These two are getting married in just over a month. I can’t even imagine how gorgeous she’s going to look on their big day; Reuben will definitely not be able to keep his eyes off of her!
These two climbed over some scraggly rocks to get to the perfect spot, and were up for anything! I love when my clients take risks because they trust that I see potential in a certain location, and here it definitely paid off. It was also great fun for them to have a person like me, with not the greatest equilibrium, to laugh at. And when they weren’t laughing at me, they were sharing secrets (I think). That definitely made for some great intimate moments, and the result is for you to enjoy right now!
I mean, this view… am I right?
If he could have, he would have stayed here forever; talk about a man in love!
Tanisha’s sister made this super cute sign for this session, isn’t her calligraphy incredible?
I mean, who needs leaves on the trees when you’ve got a couple like them?
Definitely such a difference in weather from the previous DVI ENGAGEMENT SESSION, don’t you agree?
Congratulations Reuben and Tanisha!
