It’s been a week since this session and I apologize for not getting this out sooner. Currently I’m sick, and therefore this blog post is going to be very short and to the point.

Janet is a dear friend of my mother, and, for some reason, one of the first people I thought of when I needed Stella taken care of last year when I went to Holland. Now, y’all remember how that turned out! (For those of you who didn’t follow me back then, I did not have the proper paperwork. I had to wait an extra 2 weeks before I could go home. Janet did not even blink when I asked her if she could take care of Stella a little bit longer.

And take care of her they did! I still have the videos to prove it! Stella was loved with all their hearts, and I am so thankful that there are people like Janet in the world. As a huge thank you, I offered to capture their family portraits this year, and I still feel like it’s not enough. I am not sure if we’ll ever be even, Janet, but just know that your kindness will never be forgotten!

Thank you for being such a wonderful group of people to photograph, I truly had a wonderful time. Annemijn, thank you for changing into the second outfit, I do believe that it was worth it! Erik, you may have acted like you were unimpressed, but I can’t wait to hear what you think of the pictures of you and your dog. Lars, I’m sorry you didn’t find your “schoenenlepel”, but you can’t tell on the pictures, I promise! And Jarno, you were a pretty quiet one, not sure what to say there. Other than, thanks for being a great friend to my littlest brother, I guess!

All in all, this family made my evening fun, and here is the proof!
