Sure, the Rocky Mountains are majestic, and the stunning cityscapes in Ontario are incredible, but there is just nothing like the rolling hills in this Eastern province. We finally captured a session that gives just a sneak peek of those breathtaking views.

A Special Connection

This week we had the pleasure of capturing the Geroux family in a picturesque Norton countryside family session. This session was particularly meaningful as Ryan and Kate are not just clients, but also dear friends. They booked their session as part of a special promotion we offered to our close circle, making the experience even more special.

Our most cherished memory of Ryan and Kate dates back to a homeschool gathering. I (Dianne) showed up overwhelmed and in tears because our chicken coop was far from finished, and our chickens desperately needed a bigger home. Kate and Ryan generously volunteered their entire day to help us complete the coop. Their boys played with our children, and I still remember feeling incredibly blessed that day. Both our families have faced unexpected challenges, requiring us to work harder and think outside the box. Kate now works with special needs children, and even after just two hours of sleep the night before the shoot, she looked amazing!

A Picture-Perfect Day

For this Norton countryside family session, we started by some apple trees on a friend’s farm and ended up in a field near the top of a hill with stunning New Brunswick-esque views. Kate admitted it was exactly what she’d hoped for. The boys, Liam and Jasper, brought so much fun and energy, making the session lively and enjoyable. Ryan and Kate haven’t had professional photos taken since their wedding, so we seized the opportunity to capture a bit of romance as well. The Geroux family were absolute troopers throughout the session, and we loved spending the evening with them. After the session, they went home to enjoy a barbeque with a bottle of wine. We couldn’t resist sending them same-night sneak peeks of their photos.
